FUND
RAISING FOR EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS
The Alliance Française of Karachi stgrongly
supports SAMPURNA in organizing this Special Evening of
Ghazal, Thumri and Sarangi, in order to raise funds
for the Earthquake Victims of North Pakistan. Half of
the proceeds will go to the Citizen Foundation for the
earthquake victims.
This event will take place at AFK, le Patio,
on Saturday 12 November at 8:30 pm sharp – Tickets Rs

THEATRE
WORKSHOP / CONCERT SHOW
“THE
MYSTERIOUS VOYAGE”
To pay tribute to the French author Jules
VERNE, three French artists travelling around the world
will organize a three-day theatre workshop in AFK
(14 – 17 November) which will be followed by a
Concert / Show for all ages on Thursday 17
November at 8:30 pm in “Le Patio”.

ADVANCED FRENCH LANGUAGE COURSE (2 MONTHS)

hours - with “STUDIO 100”, Book Level 2.
CONVERSATION AND LITERATURE CLASS (2 MONTHS)
Once a week, on Saturday, with a French
teacher, only for advanced levels.
COURSE FOR CHILDREN (2 MONTHS)
Once a week, on Saturday from 10 am to 12 pm, a
session of 22 hours for children of the ages from 6 to
10 years. An initiation into the French language with a
method adapted for children.
“CRASH COURSE FOR BEGINNERS”/ INTENSIVE
COURSE (6 WEEKS)
(from 23 January 2006 to 4 March 2006 –
Registration before 20 January)
3 times 2 hours per week for 6 weeks - 36 hours
– an intensive course (with STUDIO 100, Book Level 1)
that will permit you to rapidly acquire the minimum
basics of French.

EXTENSIVE COURSE OF SPANISH LANGUAGE FOR
BEGINNERS
2 times 1 h 20 per week (Monday / Wednesday –
Mornings) for 15 weeks: a modern approach to Spanish
language for beginners is now offered by Alliance Française.
Tariff: Rs 4500 (admission fee – course –
book, all inclusive).

proposes the technical assistance and counseling of the

Française is happy to welcome members and students of
all Univesities, Institutes and Vocational Schools in
Karachi to visit us in Clifton, on the occasion of an
Open House with EduFrance : talks, presentation of
training programmes in France, exhibitions and lectures.
